i think im getting one for christmas. YAY excited. what should i get for games? death jr looks kinda neat. and i want lumines i think cause i did tetris and related games, and then i want a fighting game and darkstalkers is out but if i wait till feb i can get street fighter alpha 3 but that wont be for a long time. and i think im gonna get ff7 whenever it comes out even though i never played ff7 cause everybody loves ff7 i think i should check it out. and yeah. yay. excited.

I have Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories, and its a great game if ur into that stuff, im getting FIFA 06 for christmas along with Star Wars Battlefront II, i suggest getting a 526(is that the size?)mb memory card along with the system, cuz the 32 that comes with it obviously doesnt hold much, and u cant watch videos through that small of a card for some reason, but the PSP is one hell of a machine, i love it (y)

ive watched a movie through a 32mb one, it looked great too. better than most TVs id say. i dont think ill be doing much movie watching. i might get one or two just for the hell of it, bus rides and things, but really i want it for games. i'll get bigger memory eventually and use it as an mp3 player as well. i dunno when i'll get the additional memory though. ben's got a psp and is getting a 1G for xmas, and when i told him i was getting one he said i could have his 32mb card, so i can be ghetto and carry around two baby ones for awhile :p

and yes, i cant wait for ff7 and street fighter alpha 3. whens ff7? too bad its not an actual remake of ff7. see, i never played it before and id like to try the real thing, but i think i can live with this other one, it supposed to be the same just a different story line. and im sure not nearly as long, which makes it more likely that i could at least come within something close to the end.

fact: ive never beaten a video game. at least not by myself i beat some sega genisis games and xmen legends while playing with other people. i made up my mind that i was gonna beat halo2 all by myself, got to the coutyard, and the xbox went insane and died. and when i say went insane, it started dancing to mc hammer, and then it bit someone. and im not even kidding. then the tv said MAIN SCREEN and it never played another game again.

Oh man. Fatalaties = super cool I just love going into konquest mode and doing the crazy 11 button combo moves. I feel really special each time i complete one. see Avatar Raiden = awesome.

i have to figure out how to make the wireless work. we have wireless internet at school, but to use it, it takes you to a page that you have to put in your school login name and password. i havnt seen it myself but ive heard that the psp cant redirect to the page or something? i dunno. hoping the new patch will fix it, or i can tweak the settings to make it work. maybe i can find a coffee shop with wireless or something to play in, haha. they might make me buy stuff though. but its worth it to pwn psyzmacgraphs in darkstalkers ;)

I have managed to get the SNES Emulator working with several games. There is a list of working utils there. Coolroms.com has plenty of games available for several formats.

DGEN sega emulator works too (arguably, works better) - the .BIN images want to go into the SAME folder as the emulator for this one.

The final version of the eboot loader (It is called "Brown Ale" now) is out, and it works a treat. Emulators load 100% of the time for me, pretty much, and run fine. The same version of Dgen now has sound working; and a gameboy advance emulator is working. The latest version of Homer's RIN Gameboy Colour emulator works, but with no sound. PSPectrum ZX+ spectrum emulator works fine too. Haven't tried NESter Nintendo NES emulator yet.

GBA, Uo_SNES9X and RIN all support .zip file roms, as long as they ONLY contain the ROM image.
