Not sure if there's been a thread already created regarding this topic, so I apologise if there is! I just cbf reading through to find if there is one :p

Just wondering what everyone gets up to each and every christmas/new year holiday? Do you all do the same thing each year, as in a tradition type thing...or do you just go with the flow and see what happens?

I have both sides of my parents' family coming over for a 'lil gathering type thing on christmas day, which is the usual, lunch and gift exchanging...except this year it's being held at my joint...joy. Then hopefully flying over to Sydney (Australia) for new years with my g/f to hit the beach and the clubs (y)

I will be doing nothing for Christmas since all my family is away.

And new years is over a week away, so there's no plans yet.

We go to my brother's house and see his extended family on Christmas Eve. He has grandkids and clever Santa leaves presents for them a day early at the grandparents' house.

Christmas Day I spend with friends. Great food and presents every year.

I'm skipping my friends' house party for New Years Eve for the first time in age and going out for dinner and a comedy show. :o

I'm going to my boyfriend's family's Christmas Eve party for a few hours then hang out with him then to my family's house. New Years with the boy again, not sure of our plans. Exciting huh?

I mean, we're going to fly to New York, Paris, and Tokyo to experience all three New Years. We'll blow shit up and get crunk and then have an orgy at a foam party fuckyeah

some family is coming over for Christmas eve, and i'll probably play some Risk. then i'll probably either skate at the secret spot late that night, or Christmas night. then there's a party i'm going to for New Years Eve.

Well, we're flying to NYC tomorrow and staying here (http://www.hudsonhotel.com/) tomorrow night and Christmas Eve. We're going to do the whole NY tourist Christmas thing - see the tree, the skaters, maybe even a carriage ride in Central Park, the whole 9, what the hell. Because hey, we never did it when we lived there, why would we?

Then Christmas day we're off to my sister-in-law's to hang out with the family for a few days.

New Years Eve...I have no idea... Is there anything to do in NY on New Years Eve?

My friend from NC is coming up, and I haven't seen her in years and years. We have NOwhere to go though. My other friends are doing a hotel party in Baltimore (60 miles away, $45 per person to share a bed with 2 other people, LAME), so we're trying to find some sort of party to go to. We've got one party option, but the boyfriend said no because they're a bunch of nerds. I agree to an extent, but beggars can't be choosers.

He says he'd rather stay at home with Taco Bell and a 40 than go to their party, though. Which sounds pretty sweet actually.
