my new employers had the holiday party at a lesbian karaoke bar tonight. they bought drinks and now I'm drunk and me and cort sang Tiny Dancer and brought the house down. a tiny lesbian tried to sing with us and she put her arm around me and held the mic with me with her hand over my hand, but I was like, pssht, this is our song, spppt!

also I met this other guy that works at my work that I never met and he is adorable and not gay. I figured out he wasn't gay 'cause some guy came up to him and put his arms around him and tried to dance with him and he was like "eh" and then the guy was like, "oh, you're straight!? sorry", then backed away apolgetically, bowing with praying hands. and I was like, "yuss! straight!"

everyone's so nice and lovely, I'm so glad.

i live with a lesbian and a gay man.
neither of them are very stereotypical [since one is the lead singer of the cinematics (http://www.thecinematicsmusic.com) and the other is quite a talented actress, but they are very eccentric. charismatic. make me feel all straight and boring.
the gay clubs in glasgow are good [cheap alcohol] but i find a marked difference between the lesbians and gay men. gay men are sweethearts. the lesbians are mostly militant bitches, marching around pulling their girlfriend/current fuck around everywhere so they can advertise to everyone "hollah, she's mine and i'm a DYKE, yo, what you gonna do about it?" but in a not very friendly way, ya dig?
the pure glaswegian lesbians are lovely, tho. scary but lovely. could eat you alive but heeey.
you should come. they would love some american ass.
the polo lounge (http://www.g1group.co.uk/content/default.asp?page=s45) on wilson street, come come!

actually, the bar was definitely a lesbian bar, but there was a very mixed crowd there...seriously like 1/3rd les, 1/3rd gay, 1/3rd straight. it was really small with no stage, so it was pretty easy to sing in front of people (though we were properly drunk). my boss bought the drinks, and they were quite expensive...but the bar was in a pretty rich neighborhood, so it was to be expected.
