or to be specific.. one of these (http://images.sg.creative.com/images/products/headers/prod11519_hdr_1_65_61.jpg)

help me out here.. i started charging it up, and you know when it's charging because the little battery logo flashes.. it's the only thing on the screen. i got a bit keen when i was charging and tried turning it on, and i also plugged in the USB thing too...

now it's frozen on two out of 3 bars and hasn't done changed after about.. 4/5 hours of charging. little thing ain't flashy, no buttons are working etc etc..

should i just let the battery die or is there a reset button somewhere? help me out... don't wanna fuck up my christmas but ruining my mp3 player i haven't used yet.

I have one that's about a month old, I've never had it freeze on me. If I were you, unplug it, take the battery out of the back, replace it, and then try to recharge it again. It may have just gotten locked up. I don't think there's a reset button, though.

ok cheers.

when you say "replace" do you mean... pull it out and place it back in again.

Yesh I do. It shouldn't hurt it. I've done it with my cell phone before, and it hasn't broken on me yet, which leads me to believe it's just fine. (y)

Watch out if you use it exercising. My friend had it freeze up on her twice when she was running, and my boyfriend's froze up when he was exercising too. I don't think it likes jiggling that much.

Where's the reset button? Is it the wee little crack to the right of the USB port?

power button > have it switched in the middle > to the left of the silver switch thing > under the padlock little thing.

basically look at the lock padlock then send your eyes downwards and its in the gap in the power sliding thing.
