What really makes this nerdy is the combined fact of posting from a PSP... on Christmas Day.
Oh wait a minute... you're Buddhist, which means you probably aren't celebrating today so that takes away points, I guess. Well, nevermind then. Unless you celebrate Christmas... then you truly are a nerd for posting on Christmas Day from your PSP.

If you are in the UK, you can purchase the launch issue of my PSP magazine from most good news agents. Not WH Smiths though, need to wait for second issue for that.

I don't know if I'm allowed to post in this thread from a PC, but alas I don't live in the UK.
Since you have such a magazine maybe you could answer this question, is it possible to play ad-hoc only multiplayers game over a wi-fi connection so say my brother and I could play Burnout or Grand Theft Auto states apart?

Yes and no. While there is some work on packet tunnelling, it is at the moment totally impossible. Even if there were some homebrew aps available (there aren't at present to the best of my knowledge), GTA:LCS needs firmware version 2.00 minimum. That means you are very limited in the homebrew that you can run.
Infrastructure mode is the only online wide area way to play games, unfortunately. Incidentaly, that question might just make it into Issue 2's FAQs page...

thank god I cannot post from anything other than a computer. I'd be online way too much, and already am on too much.

What about my post is sad? That I was here on Christmas as well?
Yeah, kind of... but I don't really care for spending too much time with my family. After a few hours I'm ready to dump them and go do something else, but options are pretty limited on Christmas 'round these parts.
