So nobody was on the ball and got/gave this? One of your friends has it. You'll play it and wished you would have paid attention to this post.

I rock at Unsung.

I know about it, but don't have it. I'd like to try it. I hear it's all covers though, boo to that.

It really doesn't matter that its covers and the singers sound almost the same as the real ones. But at least is songs you know. Actually, you might not because you are so young and innocent.

I've heard a bit about it...no details though.

So give em to me.

Do you just have to hit buttons in the right sequence? or do you have to actually play single notes and chords and what not? is it like Donkey Conga but with a geeeetar?

These reviewers do it ever so nicely.

Its basically a moving "neck" of a guitar on screen surrounded by animation of your character rocking on stage. As the neck moves, the button(s) you need to press pass a line where you are suppose to press the right buttons on the neck of your guitar controler and "strum" with the button on the body. Its pretty awesome. If you've seen Lost In Translation, its like the guy at the arcade with the cig in his mouth playing that guitar.

My neighbor bought it. Gigantic waste of time and money. We went on to play the Warriors for three hours instead.

some flamer was at my apartment once talking about "oooh oooh play FRANTTTTH FERDINAND!!!!!" because someone had brought it over. When I was informed they spent $80 on it, i laughed at them all.

Its obvious that anyone who says these games suck cant play it for shit. I had some friends over last night and one brought guitar hero and another GH 2. A different friend is a school teacher and borrowed a projector. We were playing multiplayer co-op on my living room wall. It seriously kicked so much ass. We played so much, that by the end of the night, I was playing Killing in the Name on hard and I've only started playing this game a little over a week ago.

I saw some guy playing along to Franz Ferdinand and Ozzy Osborne in the store just a while ago.
Ozzy is cool! Which level did you play then (you sure played "easy" :p)? I'm still stuck with Kansas in "hard" at Guitar Hero II. Come over to Friedrichshain and we'll see who's best... :)

I got 4 stars on Freebird on expert today.
No way!
I nearly didn't make it in Medium...

Pah, liar. I don't believe you. You have to prove it. Film yourself playing it and post it.

Also, I might not get 4 stars though. I was really happy with that.
Oh, now it was only good luck, heh? Ha, I knew it: liar, liar, liar...

my sister can play pretty much all songs on the highest level without much stress
Well, she's a girl. So it's obvious she can. Girls kick ass :D

Well no, I can beat Freebird on expert every time. But 4 stars was hard to get.
Okay, there you go. I'm just a bit jealous, you know.
I'll go home now and practice...
