1001 Albums you must hear before you die (book) - beasties get 3 albums

So I saw this book in Borders the other day (part of a series which also includes '1001 movies you must see before you die) and had a flick through, naturally checking for the Beasties first, sure enough, they got mentions. 3 in fact. These were as follows:

Licensed To Ill - 2 page spread (1 page writing, 1 page photo)

Paul's Boutique - half page column

Ill Communication - half page column


Words were mostly positive. Check it out, it's a pretty good read for music fans.

I definitely would have added Hello Nasty to the list, probably not TT5B (Great as it is, probably not one that should go on a 'must hear before you die' list), and one out of IC/CYH as they are both kinda similar, and I think IC stand out of the two, but CYH is also very good.

i think personally that CYH is a much better quality cd front to back...the second half of IC is a little weaker i've found. I would have added hello nasty to that list, it's very unique, every rap song on it is great, and has a few good instrumentals on it too, and has a wide variety of genres of music too
