So this contest to get tickets to the Beastie show at Sundance, you have to make a music video to either Shake Your Rump or Sabotage. It's due in a week so my friends and I are going to throw something together.

My friend and I came up with the idea of someone trying to get in to see the Beastie Boys at Sundance, or trying to find them there, and always coming close (like seeing them from behind or whatever), but never quite making it. But then we decided it wouldn't be the Beastie Boys but a different band name, and we'd just cover up the name on all my posters with whatever we figure out.

But I'm not sure if I want to do that idea, I thought maybe we could just do a mini cheesy zombie flick or something. What do you guys think?

We're thinking of doing it to Shake Your Rump just because, come on, Sabotage will always be associated with one of the greatest videos ever (though if i had access to three little kids I would do a kid version of it).

Ideas? Thoughts? Comments? Anybody helps me out I will find some way to...uh, reimburse you...?

Mob-fronted butcher shop. Assorted people and animals fall into meat slicer. Shake the rump of a pig at each chorus. Waldo is in every scene. It ends with the pig talking like in Animal Farm.

Baste Your Rump

Rub a 6 pound boneless Rump roast with 2 teaspoons salt, 1 teaspoon dry mustard and 1/4 teaspoon each of garlic salt and pepper.

Insert a meat thermometer into the center of the thickest part of the Rump. Place on meat rack in a shallow baking pan.

Mix together: 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/2 c. dry red wine (or 1/2 c. water) 1 tbsp. lemon juice

Then brush the Rump with this basting sauce. Yum!!!

Fake Your Pump

Use a Basketball theme demonstrating the Pump Fake. Here are the steps.

1. Begin your shooting motion.

2. Simultaneously, start to unbend your knees, straighten from your crouch, jerk your head back a bit, and raise the ball to the height of your sternum. Do the move quickly. If you do a motion quickly and somewhat jerkily, the defender is more likely to fall for the fake.

3. Sell the move so the defender bites.

4. Shoot the ball once your defender is out of position.

it might have been the 'by the way' video. definately of that album. so quite old, yeah.

why don't you do a video with a couple of story's going on in it. and in the end, the storys co-incide. you'd have more ideas to think about, but it'd be cool!

Then change the words on the cards Dylan flips to sync up with "Shake Your Rump" or -- well, or not. Either could be interesting.
