I just got an old email from my old neighbor and he told me that my old pothead neighbor is and I quote "11-time world champion Cam Todd, "the Michael Jordan of disc golf."

Great news. He was one of the coolest cocky people I've ever known and obviously can back it up. We traded music discs while I was moving and he got a hold of my Amon Tobin disc and it wasn't til earlier this year I knew who ws the artist and I can't get it here. I'd love to get his email address to send him an email. And am glad things have worked out so good for him

Well, one of my old classmates is an actress now. She's gotten quite a few jobs so far and it looks very promising for her.

Haven't spoken to her in ages though.

Cam throws frisbee's in a cage for a living. So with keeping that in perspective~I guess someone that's a door greeter at an upperscale Las Vegas casino that you know can qualify as well

Dick Van Patten and Eric Roberts are welcome as well.....But not Leif Garrett

If that's the case tell Eric Roberts the next time you see him to quit doing videos and go back to Purgatory style flicks

And Dick Van Patten that his magician skills leave alot to be desired. I gave my $ and that was the only thing that disappeared

I know someone who is certainly up-and-coming in the "famous" department...

I do have some degrees of separation when it comes to actor Nathan Fillion (http://www.nathanfillion.co.uk/gallery/TV/firefly04.jpg) (he's not that famous, but he's been in Saving Private Ryan, Buffy, Firefly, Serenity, etc.). My brother's music teacher in elementary school is the brother of Nathan Fillion.

Intense. I know.

One of my neighbours is somewhat famous, and is the son of someone who is very very famous indeed. But I'm not going to tell you who either of them is :p

my friend's dad is a pretty famous author, he wrote a couple books with steven king and a few of his own books are in stores. and we just found out that my friend is actually a really good writer himself, its pretty cool. he's really shy about his dad though.

my friends' band was on the Today Show and they opened for REM in europe and Hot Hot Heat in the states. I don't know if they're famous really though, they have a video on mtv2. Some people I know have also been in Magnet magazine, but that's not so famous. oh yeah, and Rolling Stone Boy. although, his most recent comic in the chicago reader was pretty lame-o if you ask me.
