I couldn't have been farther away from a midnight kiss - I got the flu! So shit. I woke up yesterday morning with the whole bit - chills, fever, cough. Blah. So all my friends went to a party while I attempted to ignore what day it was.

Someone told me that they felt their New Years was always indicative of their upcoming year. If that's true, then I'm fucked.
