Sadly, i haven't worked on a computer in over three years and forgot more than you know. I dont know. Do I have to bust it open to check?

right click on your desktop, pick properties
pick the settings tab
pick the advanced button
pick the geforce 4 tab

it should tell you the information some where in that last window. you may have to look around a bit.

then your motherboard can't really handle much more than a geforce 4.

you can get a decent motherboard and videocard for like 200 bucks. if your willing to put that shit together

New mother board and video card. Fucking Civ IV.

I shall ponder on this tonight and most likely upgrade my shit so I have it together. How am I suppose to hit the chicks when I can't impress them with my computer?

well if you do get a new mother board, agp is pretty much getting fased out by now. it's replaced by pci express. so look for pci express motherboards and video cards. the best pci express video card in the 200 dollar range is the geforce 6800 GS(not to be confused with the 6800 GT). you can probably find a decent pci express motherboard for around 50 dollars.

But you can run a 8x video card in a 4x agp slot. Theres no problem in that. I used to use a FX 5200 in a MB with a 4x agp slot

yeah but he's better off getting a mother board with pic express since agp has been pretty muched abadoned. just makes it easier for an upgrade later on when agp is totally gone in the near future.

both the 6800 GT/GS are 256 bit and both have 256 megs of memory. the gt and the gs have the same performance but the gs is a much better deal. the gs is just less expesensive to manufacture so they can sell it at a lower price. both the gt and gs come in both agp and pci express versions. however the agp version of the GS is really rare and is actually not worth buying.

Yeah, but that was the super version. That code opened up a whole menu type thing that did other stuff, but turning on the blood was also one of the options.

Ah, gotcha.

I knew the menu code for mk2 and i'm sure that if I hear the music and have a mega drive pad or nomad in my hands i can still produce it.

Hmmm... left left down right right down...ish...?

Crap, now I have to look it up.

The legend of Link was the sequel to the Legend of Zelda.

Oh, I guess it was called the Adventure of Link.

Woops!

Junker
01-04-2006, 01:31 PM
Yeah...........thats a title with the name of "The Adventure of Link".

But if im not wrong, all the Zelda games are titled like this

The Legend of Zelda
The Legend of Zelda:A Link To The Past
The Legend of Zelda:Ocarina of Time
The Legend of Zelda:Majora's Mask
The Legend of Zelda:Oracle of Ages
The Legend of Zelda:Oracle of Seasons
The Legend of Zelda:The Wind Waker
The Legend of Zelda:The Minish Cap
The Legend of Zelda:Twilight Princess

I think this Adventure of Link is the only title without The Legend of Zelda in front of it

there's many versions of the 6800

all the 6800's are 256bit. the plain 6800 has 128megs of memory.
