Abortions! Do they make you lol? Do they make you :(? Are you indifferent to them?

I figure we got too many people anyway, and at least we vaccum em out of the uterus rather than eating them after being born like gerbils do.

The president of my country almost passed that law here, but I'm happy he still didn't nor the congress approved it. In the other hand, it's legal to abort when you have been raped or if the mom may die. Seriously the mom should die, let the baby live!!!

Yeah, abortions are cool, it'd be cool if I was aborted.
What can I do for you to stop hating yourself? Life is a gift and you have to know how to use it! It's hard, I know that. I'm still trying to figure this out, but it's been good. I mean, at least I'm healthy. Are you? I hope so! It must be really sad not to have an arm or a leg or be blind or anything like that. Enjoy your life. You can do so many things. Sex will come to you if you know how to wait. I know it's hard and you really want sex, but life is not just about it. Hey, I have my sexual needs too, but I'm hanging on, so hang on!!!!

im Pro-abortion. i dont think anyone should be forced to have a kid if dont want to. or have to go through the labour. Although i think people should be more responsable and safe so they will not have to undergo an abortion. But say, a woman is raped, and becomes pregnant. I think that is a perfect scenario for abortion.

Sometimes bad things happen for a reason. Once this woman in a wheel chair was rapped and then she let the baby live. All her family disappeared and the only one who takes care of her is her son, a great dude, by the way.

Not all babies are born from happy people. Unfortunately that's how it is and some of them are born from happy families and end up having a shitty life. I know that if was rapped I would hate to be pregnant, but I would think that it's better than get AIDS and unfortunately I would have to accept it and give life to him. Maybe I'd take care of him/her, maybe I would give him to adoption. I don't know. I would be really pissed if that happened, but at some point I would have to accept it. The baby came for a reason. A life is very important. It doesn't matter if you suffer or not. I mean, we all suffer. My dad is shit and I was supposedly born from a good couple, but not entirely. You have to give a chance to the baby. "Oh, I don't want to have a baby, let's kill it!" We gotta stop think so much about ourselves and strive ourselves to think about the other person's life. It's hard. I know. It's very hard for someone as selfish as I am, but we must do it. A life is no joke. If it's there, it's there. Life is not always flowers, ya know.

I've always been pro-choice. A few years ago, an acquaintance who is very anti-choice said to me "Just wait until you are having a baby, you will feel differently." I didn't think it was worth mentioning to her that actually I'd already had a termination when I was 19, and still regard it as having been a very good decision. Now that I am pregnant again, this time being a very much wanted pregnancy, I can't say as my feelings have changed at all. This having a baby thing, it's so huge. I can't imagine being forced to go through with it if I was, say, quite young and quite scared, a rape victim, in an abusive realtionship, without a partner, had a drug problem, knowing I'd have the baby and then never see it again, or any of the other myriad scenarios that can and do occur to other women every day. I'm not saying that no women in those situations should continue their pregnancies, because I respect the choice that any woman wants to make (except continued drug use; if you're going to 'keep' it, then you have to get yourself sorted). But no woman should be forced to continue an unwanted pregnancy, IMO.

Is it acceptable to have an abortion in a stable relationship? I don't mean in the eyes of Jesus-freaks, I mean actual people. What do they think?

I think a woman shouldn't be forced to have a child, but she also shouldn't be forced to get an abortion.
idk, everyone has their own opinion. don't bullshit me for mine.

I'll never have to worry about this because I can't stand kids, I'd likely hang myself if I had a child, toddlers hate me, so I hate them.

I say it's up to the ho. If the bitch is inconsiderate enough to let me go up in her when she's fertile, it's her responsibility to look after/dispose of whatever starts growing in there.

Actually it's more like

I love you darling, you are the most amazing woman in the world. Now surrender your heavenly body to me and prepare for the multi-orgasmic tantric fucking of a lifetime.

Yeah very funny, implying that I come early. That is an exceedingly hard-hitting and witty insult, well done. Seriously, I've never heard that one before.

I think it's nobody's business except for the woman and her partner (because I'm assuming that in order for a relationship to qualify as 'stable' this would be a discussion in which a woman would want to involve her partner), and a qualified medical professional.

I think we need after birth abortions. I mean, what has a fetus done? I think at 18 the parents should be able to legally kill a kid, because at least then they would know if the kid is a piece of shit or not.

ha!

Pro-choice. Would I have an abortion myself? Probably not. But I'd never know for sure until I was in that position, and I'm definitely not going to refuse that option to other women. What they want to do with their bodies is their own fuckin' business.

There's this asshole Christian group on campus that set up a display on the quad (at least once a semester) that compares abortions to the Holocaust. Needless to say, the rabbis on campus tore them a new one.

(y) I couldn't agree more. I really admire that you are speaking openly about your decisions and that you appear to have very little regret for the decisions you have had to make in the past.

there so much of the abortion arguement that trys to make people feel guilty. I too have made the decision to terminate a pregnency and I have no remorse and consider it to be the best possible decision we could make at the time. But I sometimes feel that people expect me to say I regret it, because I most often hear other women who have had abortions say how much they regret it. I don't know if it's the desire to appear to be a moral/spiritual person that makes them express that or that they truly feel what they did was wrong. Personally I just can't get behind this whole we shouldn't because life begins at conception. well it does begin then...but if you take a look at medical stats, it's very frequent that nature also terminates pregnecies, ie misscarriages, still borns, etc. So I tend to think the POSSIBILITY of life begins at conception...but there's alot that can happen in between and I just don't see anything wrong with making the decision to terminate a pregency early on when the possibility of life is pretty uncertain in the first place. anyway my point is, thank you Ms. Peachy for speaking about abortion without guilt, and I wish more women felt free to do the same.

A sperm lives about a week, so if you don't have sex or wank really often, you waste lots of potential babies.
