And finally, this one fuckin' rocked. It's an anaconda (from Brazil, methinks) that had just squeezed the life out of this rabbit, but wouldn't eat it in front of us (we waited for 10 minutes):

word.....thats why I don't go to the zoo anymore. Especially the rat infested National Zoo. A couple of years ago they a red panda died from eating rat poison or something like that.

But in all fairness....during the warmer months the elephants and giraffes have much more room to roam around outside.

yea me too i prefer seeing animal in their natural habitat.
Zoo kinda suck but in one sense they keep some animal on the verge of extinction alive and reproduce them so, it's sad to say ,one day zoo will be the only place where you will be able to see some animal extinct in the wild!
