It's a tie between Let It Be and We Can Work it Out. Very different but both very good.

My personal favorite Beatles-era was their Rubber Soul/Revolver days.

So my faves from there would be "Girl," "Michelle," "Tax Man," "She Said She Said."

In addition, "A Day in the Life" is a masterpiece.

Bah, there's so many!

Without being pretentious, these songs are pretty seldom ever held in the same high regard as the rest of their catalogue, as well, but don't actually suck:

I Saw Her Standing There
Don't Bother Me
Every Little Thing
I'm Looking Through You
Run For Your Life
And your Bird Can Sing
Love You To
Dear Prudence
Long, Long, Long

The Beatles are scary good, on the right sound system it's all pretty much amazing.

I have an old pair of Klipschs (Horn mid-range and horn tweeters with 2-15" bass speakers) it all sounds great.

I'll add the songs "Magical Mystery Tour & Blue Jay Way" one for the horn section and the other for the subtle psychedelica. (y) :)

The White album has always been my favourite Beatles, so many different type of songs, but all class. Magical Mystery Tour album is quality too.

...that's pretty much my favorite song of theirs. I don't think it's the best, but "I'm So Tired" is my knee-jerk reaction to "what's your favorite Beatles song?" about as much as "favorite color?" is "blue." (y)

I love the video for that so much that it usually pushes the song way up on my list. I love Ticket to Ride because it is tied to such a good scene in Help! and All Together Now because I associate it with the video.

Can't Buy Me Love was the second record I ever wore out.

I like the early songs best:
It Won't Be Long
You Can't Do That
Hippy Hippy Shake
I Feel Fine
Dizzy Miss Lizzy
You're Gonna Lose That Girl
In My Life

and of course Revolution :)

The second side of Abbey Road is a complete fucking masterpiece.

I like they all hated each other so much towards the end that they just stuck all the unfinished songs together in a medley, but it works oh so well.

Fuck yeah.

Excellent topic of discussion, especially because I'm tearing through the 9 hour anthology video and finishing the 1000 pg Beatles book by Bob Spitz. My top 5

Twist and Shout
Penny Lane
Rain
You're Gonna Lose that Girl
Daytripper

I also had the "privalege" of watching Paul's movie "Give My Regards to Broadstreet." Pretty bad. But if you like Paul alot, you might sit through it.
