What made it all worse, was the fact that when they originally reported that they found them, everyone thought they found them alive.

It's awful for everyone. It's a shame to see the story being spun as frustration and blame.

I really feel for their families. Thinking that they were okay and that they were going to see them again only to find out that they had suffered and died horribly.
Did anyone see Munich? I was a little confused but it seemed like the same thing happened with the Olympic athletes. The news reported that they were alive and then they were killed.

Its hard to know because everyone is pointing fingers but what do people think about the company not fixing the safety issues?

...something like 270 violations in two years.
How can they have had so many violations but still been allowed to operate>
The economy of the region, I suppose, but.... man.

Yeah, they're poor people, they need these jobs, they won't rock the boat with demands for basic worker's rights.
How could those fuckers sleep at night?

yeah news flash, the mining industry cares nothing about its workers or the environment
I hate the industry I work for, I only sleep at night cause I vote for the green party

It's sad, no doubt. A real tragedy. But like anything we involve oursleves in there's a margin of error about the size and shape of a person.
I wonder how many of the relatives of the deceased were religious?

I had a really stressful morning, but I swear that the newpaper had happy families on the cover and said one dead. How did they mess up so bad?

I wonder how many of the relatives of the deceased were religious?I heard one of the families, when they thought their relative alive, say something about faith in the Lord. Hmm.
It's sad, but I think the real tragedy is companies maximizing profits at the risk of lives. It happens everyday, but luckily, it rarely turns out this poorly.
