yup...but look at some of the defenses that they played against. Both play in conferences where the emphesis is on scoring. Look at the OSU - Tx game in the beginning of the year...OSU is a much better team right now then they were at that point. IMjust saying lets see those teams go against a solid defense and put up that many points,

if he doesn't change his mechanics, he's staring at a 35% completion percentage.

and he won't be running through people like that in the NFL...

I agree that PSU would have to score. IM just saying that I think the defense that they actually showed this year, might be able nullify some of the high scores that they put up. What I think makes the UT win more amazing is that they did it w/o the host of names that USC has. The thing is I like Vince Young better than Leinert; but, I hope Young doesn't think that he will be able to run like that in the NFL.

Though he is exciting, I'm more of a traditionilst. i like to see the QB stay in or around the pocket and just pick a defense apart.

First, do you seriously think he's gonna be a pocket passer in the NFL in order for him to get his passes batted down constantly?? NO.

Mechanics? Looked fine to me. Certainly better than a 35%.

McNair and Young are very close....McNair has been his mentor for years.
McNair was at the Rose bowl and the hung out after the game to talk.

Young probably will come out in the draft...
and the Titans have the #3 pick.

basically, the top 3 are Bush, Leinert, Young, ...and maybe D'Brickshaw.

so the titans CAN grab one of those top 3..if they don't trade thier pick away.

i don't know....i'm really not that big on Young.
he has crazy potential...but his side arm mechanics are terrible...he can't read Defenses well. he's too raw.
it would take him 2 years to be ready (like McNair), and then who knows.

Lienert is ready to start NOW, and the TITANS have norm chow...who created the offense that USC runs, and built Leinhert himself when he was at USC.
so the Titans offense is literally built for Leinert.
