What CD's aren't greatest hits collection.

I have started to rekindle my interest of the beastie boys and have been buying all their CD's used on amazon. anyway, I noticed the Cd root down seems to be a combination of songs from other cd's. I have ill communication, license to ill. hello nasty, aglio e olio, some old BS, root down,Paul's Boutique, To The 5 Boroughs, and Check Your Head. What cd's am i missing that are not collection of greatest hits. Also my root down is (EP), what does that stand for/ what is the difference between it and the others.

EP means Extended Play. link (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ep) to more detailed explanation, but it has to do with how much music is on it. In vinyl it went LP>EP>single or 7"

You have the main albums but you're missing some songs that come on other lesser-known albums. Beastiemania (http://www.beastiemania.com/discog/) lists all their releases and what songs are on them.

You didn't ask, but in my opinion, what you need next is the DVD Anthology from Criterion and probably the Solid Gold Hits DVD, unless you have no interest in videos.
