big upset earlier today! I just hope an Englishman wins it again - the dutch are giving us a right good run for our money!

Yeah, Barny is such a strong player. I also really like Co Stompe's play. Can't work out if Fordham has retired or not. If he is back on form, might well give them a run for their money.

Shea stealing that last leg was brilliance though. Totally didn't think that 180 would help him. Still, that's how he wins a game double-quick.

2:20pm (GMT) on BBC 2 (Maybe on the livestream on webby too) - Andy Fordham match. If he's on form, could be excellent. Must-watch, jsut to see if he is back on form after last year's upset.

Yes, he was on "Celebrity Fit Club". Haven't seen much of him since, so dunno if he has kept the weight off and is fit and healthy. I'm hoping that if he has kept in practice and has his health and stamina up due to exercise, he'll be a strong contender.

He is easily my favourite player, I haven't seen him in a game where I wasn't at the edge of my seat.

I'll still watch it but its all a bit minor league compared to the PDC world darts which has just finished - thats where the best play.

Yeah, cause darts is such an athletic sport.

I really like darts, though. So much better on BBC than it is on Sky. Phil Taylor is so boring.

I really enjoyed the Fitton vs Adams match. Reminded me of the semis last year. Freaky draw to get thoe two paired up. Fitton showed his usual style, and still made rookie mistakes.

I'm really hoping Fordham will do well this year. He is constantly underrated, and such an entertaining player.

And that's his own fucking fault. He even blamed the sport because of his obesity on Celebrity Fat Club because all the matches are played in Social Clubs. People would by him beer after beer. He could have said "no", for fuck's sake.

Well, that was a big dissapointment. The big guy went to pieces. Maybe it was the pressure of being back again after last year's first round defeat, or maybe he's just getting too old... Maybe he should spend more time practicing. Eitherway, it's a dissappointment. Totally sub-par.

Hopefully there'll be some good darts from Co and Von Barneveld.
