who the hell came up with an idea like that? why would you take the potato out of the skin, smash it up, then just put it right back in? i mean, the cheese part is lovely! i suppose you couldn't do that unless you took the potato out, but still. it's such a weird idea. and it doesn't work with too many other foods that i can think of. meat for example, you definitely can't stuff meat with more mashed meat.

at thanksgiving, you could stuff the turkey with mashed turkey or whatever...i guess....but it's weird....

maybe they came up with idea for twice baked potatoes because you can pretty much do anything with a potatoe. they're very versatile.

i had twice baked potatoes last night, and mine fell apart into 4 pieces. it was quite sad.

stupid refried beans. joe likes them, i definitely don't like the ass gases that follow them though.

true true, you can't stuff beans with beans.

oh, and even though you don't simmer refried beans, but like, if you're simmering them for other things, like chillie, if you simmer them with celery stalks, it makes them easier to digest and reduces gas.

has anyone heard of those recipes where a tiny bird like a quail is stuffed into a chicken, which in turn gets stuffed inside a turkey?? that would be delicious. i just saw on telly or the net or something someone in the UK was going for the record, was like 7 diff birds stuffed inside one another!
