joe is impossible to wake up. i have dedicated almost 2 hours to it today and he's still sleeping!

i tried being nice, i scratched his back, rubbed his head, talked softly. that didn't get work.

i got rougher. i smacked him a lot, took off his covers, laid on top of him.
