so any of you break a bone?
I successfully broke my first bone (my wrist) a couple weeks ago...wiped out during a jump snowboarding, fizzuck!!
I've had sprains, stitches, wisdom teeth pulled...but nothing this serious ( it looked nasty! my hand was detached from my arm )
but I'll be bak out later this season....nothin's gonna stop me!

Tearing my right ACL was much more painful, and long lasting, than breaking my right wrist. Plus, when I broke my wrist, I learned to play sports left-handed.

Broke my arm riding my bicycle through downtown Seattle, slid over a big metal grate for the bus tunnel in front of Nordstroms. I straightened out my front fork and rode on, but within a few blocks my right arms range of motion could not reach the brake....then in a few more blocks I could only move my arm an inch before, "OUCH"!
Lots of Hydrocodones and Movies followed. I faked an extra few weeks of pain to get out of work, went to California and drove around. All better now.

2 bones in my wrist and one just above the elbow, falling off the monkey bars onto hard grass when i was 9 (2 days before my birthday :( ).
wasn't too bad except for i have my arm taped to my body, as the upper arm didn't have a cast on it and i wasn't alowed to move it. i couldnt put my arm through any sleeves, had to keep it under my tshirts :(
when i was 10 i was hit by a car out the front of my house. broke two bones in my ankle, they went through the skin so i have some large and nasty scars. i also fractured my skull and was in a coma for 3 days.
a sidenote to that story, the lady who ran me over was the religious studies teacher at school. in fact, my ex religious studies teacher, i had dropped out of that class (they aren't allowed to force religion on you) a few months prior after i found out attendance wasn't mandatory.
i think she was trying to put the fear of god into me. didn't work.

I've been lucky enough not to break any bones, yet.
Ditto. But I have had a tumour in my right leg. Lucky enough to have it removed before it spread (y) Got a lovely looking scar about 10cm long down the inside of my calve....gorgeous!
No broken bones, I usually break my head.

Hey me too....i took about a 20 ft spill a few years ago and came down right on my wrist. It was shattered into like 7 or 8 pieces. I've also broken 2 ribs, my nose 3 times, pretty much every finger and toe, and my ankle once

I have broken one bone in my body. And it was only two small fractures. But it was placed so that if it had been >------< this much lower I would've been dead or a vegetable. Yeah it was C1 (http://www.uhn.ca/programs/spine/images/spinal_map.jpg) on my vertabrae, hit the back of my head on a faucet when I slipped in the shower. Had to wear a halo vest (http://www.univie.ac.at/cga/courses/be524/spinal/halo.gif) for 10 weeks.
This was less than 6 years ago and made me wonder why I'm here for, it wasn't my first near-death experience...

I fell and had a spiral fracture on my 4th metacarpal on the right hand.
I had a big ol cast and metal rod holding my finger in place for two months. Skipped therapy since I could not afford it. Hand works okay, sometimes if I use it for more than a work day, it hurts (which sucks, since I'm right handed), my finger shorted by a couple of cm's, and my knuckle on that finger is non-existant. If you feel the area over the break, it is really thick and somewhat like a large bump... not sure what that means but yeah.
Good times!
