Oh yes, and you gotta love it when there's more than one way to pronounce a name. For example, you can say my last name, Lambert, in three ways:

The English way ("Lamb-burt")

The Quebec French way ("Lamb-bear")

The Parisian French way ("Lawm-bear")

Ha, mr.peachy used to work with this guy named Jeff Ng. He was a real pain in the ass apparently, and a lot of mr.p's projects would get held up waiting on this guy to finish up his section. He always had some excuse though as to why it wasn't his fault that the work wasn't done and would have a moan about it in the weekly team meetings. Finally one day mr.p cut him off and said "You know Jeff, there's no 'Ng' in the word 'team'."

For instance, I had a peice of mail one day for an inmate whose name was Lucious. Well, needless to say, I yelled his name as lucious as in Lucious Jackson and he had a whole crowd of inmates laughing a licking their lips that night. He told me after he recieved his mail that his name wasn't pronounced like that and to please not do say it like that again.

I think its Nwhen/Nwin. I've had quite a few vietnamese friends over the years, and thats generally how they've pronounched it. The N doesnt seem to totally disappear, its just said quick.
