Sorry- cant agree - watched unbreakable, sixth sense ,signs and the village thought they were all disappointing. They build nicely and then just let me down. Signs was about the best one.
Jarhead's just come out in UK - went to see it last night - pretty good in a full metal gulf war style.

Night's movies have always polarized the audience....you either love it, or hate it, not many people can say it's just OK.
Myself, I even loved The Village. The first time I saw it, I was majorly let down..in fact I even hated it. Then after watching it a few times, I would get new stuff out of it, stuff I missed before. It's truly a beautiful movie in my eyes...

With Shyamalan, he's hit and miss, for me.
I loved "The Sixth Sense" and "Signs," however I just hated "Unbreakable" and "The Village."
But since he reverts from brilliance to suckiness with each movie, I'm hoping this new movie will show the pendulem swinging towards brilliance... maybe.

i forgot to mention the trailer park boys movie, and Apocalypto doesn't look that bad, even though Mel Gibson seems to have gone nuts.

Of Shyamalan's stuff, I've only really liked Unbreakable.
Anyway:
The Prestige (Nolan)
The Fountain (Aronofsky)
Bubble (Soderbergh)
The Departed (Scorsese)
A Scanner Darkly (Linklater)
The Good German (Soderbergh)
Marie-Antoinette (Coppola)
God only knows:
Prairie Home Companion (Altman)
....crossing fingers 'cause it unfortunately looks like a misfire:
Cars (Lasseter) :(

...Tommy wants to very much, and he thinks Cheech Marin thinks he's too good for that act any more. The interview said Tommy cant get his calls returned.

Oh that's right, Cheech is honing his craft as a serious actor working opposite Kevin Costner & Don Johnson.
Pud
I say you get Cheech, Chong, Pee Wee, Staci Keach and the whole gang back together for Nice Dreams II.
