Today I'm being greedy. I went to a department store and filled out my ultimate "wish list" for my baby shower registry. It will need to be pared down and made a little bit more sensible for it's 'final' version, but for today, I was just putting pretty much every damn thing I saw on there.

Well, I will probably leave most of it, but I should just go over it and make sure I have put things that are too much just like other things, if you know what I mean.

Example of a conversation between me and mr.p today in the store:

me: So, baby monitors. Any thoughts on this subject?

mr.p: what's to think about, is there really much difference between them?

me: Well, you wouldn't think so, but look - this one's got a camera built in as well so you can not only hear them but you can click to see if they're just fussing in their sleep of it they're actually awake and stuff.

mr.p: Come on, what a waste of money - how much can you see if it's dark in the room?

me: It's got "night vision".

mr.p's eyes light up, and he takes a closer look.

me: But it's like, 2 or 3 times as expensive as the other kinds.

mr.p: But it's got night vision!

I went down south (south west of western australia) for the weekend, and got extremely burnt :( So I'm staying indoors today, and probably for the rest of the week too! Every part of my body is aching. Tzar has the same problem too haha :p

Today I may be looking for another job if my manager doesnt understand why I had to miss to be at a funeral. I shoulda called in when it happened, but i deemed it unnecessary. I didnt want to go through the conversation with my boss about why I'm missing and then hearing his disbelief, but understanding or the always heard "dont let it happen again" regarding me not calling in.
