How out of the loop am I? I really have no way of knowing precicely. All of you people make cultural references that probably all go over my head. Lots of posts here make no sense to me and so I have to assume that they contain catch phrases or references that would make perfect sense if I watched television or something.

So, I was on this website, right. Clicked over there from someone's having linked it on some journal entry or such. Theatrical stuff and the like, where you could buy tickets for various things. And there was a picture of some guy, and I was like "That guy looks familiar. I should know who that is."

Usually I don't bother about things, but this was annoying me. It struck me as a person who I absolutely was supposed to know. His picture was there as though it was self-explanitory. So I turned it over in my head. He was some famous sports guy, or morning show personality, or cable show person. He wasn't John Stewart. He was definitely someone.

So, oh bother, I started clicking around to figure out who it was. (Jerry Sienfeld)

I watched Busta Rhymes' new video on the computer the other day. It frightened me. I have these fears about the future, and they have lot's of Busta Rhymes videos in them.

I don't really watch TV either, so I'm pretty out of the loop too. It's kinda embarrasing sometimes, like the other day my mate had a charity day at work where they all wore short sleeve shirts like some cop show guy. So he comes home from work, and he starts going on with his work mate about this day they had. I'm just laughing playing along thinking I don't really know who this guy is, but whatever, sounds like it was fun. Anyway, they kept mentioning it thru the night, and in the end i've just come out and said "who is this guy?" and they've both just given me this shocked look like "are you serious?!?". but i kinda find it reassuring anyway, who needs to live their lives around a bunch of celebrities.

Also, I agree, it is scarey to look at some of the people who are being looked up to these days.
