I was not really paranoid until I came here and some of you were hypercritical (in posts or in PMs) about things like the length of my posts, my age, and sometimes, just what I had to say.
NOOBS BEWARE. Or maybe NOOBS UNITE.

dude. That doesn't have anything to do with spelling. Like "irregardless". It's not a misspelled word, it's just flat out not a word.
Besides, you should be naturally drawn to using 'converse' over 'conversate' - it's got one less syllable. :p

yeah yeah yeah. And 'noo-kyuh-lur' is an "acceptable" pronunciation of the word 'nuclear.'
Weren't you the one just wondering why it is that Americans are getting stupider, accepting mediocrity and lack of effort as reasonable achievement?

Uhh...It's definately accepted in my neck of the woods. Infact, that's just how you pronounce it. I know...how sad is that?!
And, in my opinion, I don't think it's largely due to laziness or because people are getting more stupid. I think it's mainly due to ignorance...not even knowing to begin with that they are pronounceing, useing, spelling, etc. a word incorrectly...just for example. It's always been used in that manner and that's how they were taught to communicate...so, they know no different. It's almost like a whole new language evolveing from another language. One way look at it is that if an "incorrect" word is used and the meaning of it is understood, so that the people are able to effectively communicate with one another...then, technically it has become an "official" word. I mean, what's the whole point of words anyway...to be able to effectively commuicate.
Now, I'm not saying that it doesn't irratate me when people don't know proper English or grammer...especially when they're way off and there's almost no excuse. Like, saying double negatives..."I ain't got no." Or when the subject is plural and the verb is single. Like saying... "They be telling me..." Just playing devil's advocate really, I guess.
