hmm yes...that's one thing I couldn't figure out. I always drop the original full track in first with vocals and beat on it then match the acapella to it so it sits perfectly. THEN I start the process of building around it.
The beats I added to the aca lined up perfectly with the original beat of the Beasties track, snares, kicks were in synch, and the acapella in synch with the original. However, when switching off the channel with the original track, the vocals did seem slightly off beat. I tried pulling them both ways but got no closer than I started with. That's the result. I think that because we're all used to hearing the original with it's many layers, my stripped down version sounds a bit "empty"

I'm gonna do another version now that's layered to fuck.
