We recently upgraded the artist image script in order to resolve an issue with new images not displaying properly. Problem is fixed now.
As a side note, although the song upload section states that we do not accept any copyright material, we currently accept remixes from this contest until further notice. (y)

i'd be interested if it supported direct links to the mp3s

It has both direct and streaming links for the mp3s, here I've posted streaming links, but you get the direct as well on your artist main page.
for example (my main page):
http://www.highpass.studioeclection.com/DJ%20PH@

stream triple trouble:
http://www.highpass.studioeclection.com/music/pls.php?song=99&type=m3u

download triple trouble:
http://www.highpass.studioeclection.com/music/download.php?song=99

A note on the mp3 links. For any one that doesn't know, the %20 is the URL code for a space " ". You can type http://highpass.studioeclection.com/DJ PH@ into your browser and it will work too.

Also, I'm working on a very straight-forward system that will make it easy to access streams and/or mp3s.

Examples:

highpass.studioeclection.com/download/artist/song
~.com/stream/artist/song
or
(winamp)
~.com/stream/pls/artist/song
(windows media player)
~.com/stream/asx/artist/song

And if you happen to misspell a band name or song name, the site will try to determine what song you were looking for (think google). All in all, there is a lot in the works. So patience all.

with direct links i mean for example;
www.blahblah.com/blahblah/remix.mp3

where it ends with the actual file.
many download assistants, like getright starts downloading the php file and not the actual mp3.

I see. That's too bad (n) The system we have developed is very smooth, but we have no plans to change to direct downloads, as we then can't track the statistics and plays. Interesting that you have problems using getright, I've never encountered that problem before.

We are in the process of upgrading various functions of our website, but all is running smoothly in the transition, we have added password recovery and detailed charts to the site, and are working on much more. Sign up today! (y)
