i don't really give a shit about either team...

but i used to hate the steelers...so i'll probably root against them....

i just can't understand how everone was so fuckin baffled by the steeler's offense in the playoffs.

i mean, pitt runs one of the most conventional, simplistic offenses in the NFL...
yet, they send 2wr and a rb out in the flat....and the defenses are just bewildered.
i don't get it.
teams figured out how to stop the Bengals, Chargers, and Colts....
but no one figure out how to stop pitt's offense?

that's like figuring out calculus, but being unable to do addition.

can't stop the pass when you have 8 and 9 men up at the line to stop the run. and once they adjusted to stop the pass, we'd just go back to the ground game.

i'm just dissapointed that ward got that penalty at the end of the half on that goofy play that nobody knew what was going to happen...

QB's with the first name Jake threw 5 interceptions, that ties the record this season for most INTs by one first name. Only matched by the Week 13 combo of Drew Brees and Drew Bledsoe.

However, QBs named Brett, Kyle, Ryan, Daunte, and Joey also threw 5 INTs in one day, all solo performances...

I underestimated the Steel Curtain's abilities to shut down all who oppose them, and seeing that Troy Paulualuaulanamu in action yesterday, I can see why the Colts are home crying right now. Ben Shitburger will have to be magical on offense this week, and the Bus better rush for about 150 yards, because that ball will not being in the air much. And when it is, the Shithawks will have the Steeler's recievers in double/triple coverage. Speaking of the Shithawks, if they can get the ball to the MVVVVVVVVP Alexander, they will have a chance.

I'm saying Shittsburgh and the Bus go home happy when they win by a field goal. I'm guessing this game will have terrible refereeing and there will be controversy.

Lets just face it everybody and there fucking mother have been saying the same shit, all while we beat the 1,2,3 teams in the afc (and may I say pretty bad at that), where the seahawks would be about a 4 or 5 seed in the AFC. The only way to shut everyone up is to just win one more time (and im shure shit will still be spoken). Dont get me wrong the seahawks are very formitable as an opponent but they just havent had a singnature win in my opiniont. The carolina (who is very banged up) game was probably there biggest win. There 0-2 at home almost lost to washington, beat (and almost lost) to the colts 2nd and 3rd stringers and pulled out a few skweekers.
Seattles D does look good but in my opinion pittsburgh just has too many weapons. I think heath miller is going to have a big game. And as for Ben folding under pressure, not going to happen (hes just way too calm and way to smart this year). The steelsers have seen everything that the seahawks could possibly throw at them, they've played and beaten the best offensive and defensive teams the there house. The super bowl WILL be a home game for the steelers, There will be at least 80% steeler fans and 3% seatle fans the rest will be neutral. the only people who can beat the steelers is the steelers period.
sorry for the rant....I could go on for days.

easier said than done my friend. there is obviously something that you are missing from your grand scheme

teams stumped them plenty of times during the season....they squeeked into the playoffs as a wild card.
they were 7-5 at one point.

certainly no dominant force.

then they get in the playoffs...and defenses are just perplexed...

"WHOA! 2 RECIEVERS RUNNING SLANT PATTERNS AND A RB IN THE FLAT!
WHAT DO WE DO!!?! WHAT DO WE DO!?! RUN AWAY RUN AWAY!!!"

"LETS GIVE HEATH MILLER AND HEINZ WARD 10 YARD CUSHIONS....LET'S PLAY OUR SAFETIES SUPER DEEP, SO BEN HAS A 15 YARD HOLE TO DROP THE BALL BETWEEN...YEAH, THAT'LL WORK!"

frustrating...

Just a FYI, there is absolutely no way the Steelers stand a chance this SuperBowl Sunday. I know the polls are in and are very strongly leaning towards the Steeler's, the USA is 70% + Steelers fans.

The oddsmakers pin the Seahawk's as 4 point underdogs and give the edge to the Steeler's. But thats just bullshit, what the oddsmakers really do is try and get as many people as possible to bet from both sides, because babies' thats how they make money.

The one equation that many people haven't taken into consideration is this, the Seahawks just don't feel like losing.

So I too will be back Sunday evening to gloat.

Guy Incognito
02-06-2006, 09:18 AM
^Just English. The Steelers have won four previous Super Bowls, so they have been trying to win one more to have a Super Bowl ring for their thumb. It in fairness, the Seahawks mis-management of the clock is what truly did them in. The Steelers won, congratulations.

Nice one for clearing that up for me - see thats what i dont get about US sports - clock management shouldnt be a factor. It should be just be two teams goin for it - full bollocks. i know you probably hear this a lot but there's way too many stoppages.
