Good example of backpackers that don't suck (http://www.tanyamorgan.com/). People usually sleep on them at first and then turn around and praise them. If you haven't heard them, and you're into Native Tongues and organic hip hop like Little Brother, you should dig it.

ok, forgive my stupidity, but someone define "backpacker" for me. I have a vague idea as to what it means but not really.
I also anticipate flaming due to not knowing/liking Kanye West.

Brooklyn and Cincinnati. It's in their bio. In the link I provided. Which takes you to their website. Where it tells you that. Where you would have noticed that. If you had clicked on the link.

They're underground rap nerds that talk about space shit, ramble on about shit that doesn't make sense, rap about rap not being as great as it used to be and annoy the hell out of you by overcompensating to identify with the roots of hip hop and generally end up sounding like holier than thou dickheads that really need to take their own lives, preferably sooner than later.

I know man. I know. But you're still a good guy.
Tanya Maorgan is probably the worst name for a hip hop group ever. But I like it better than Down 4 Life.
Click 'next' on the little cassette tape. There's better songs.

Yeah, Kylie's sick.
As far as the Beatles sample goes, I don't think they'd be able to get past Mr Jackson without paying out the ass for the clearance. The MC Lyte sample may be a little more feasible.

I thought Jacko was gonna have to put the rights up for auction again- I'm sure I read that somewhere but it might have been durin the trial when there was allsorts of misinformation.
Did you forget that you walked into a shop and bought Kylie CD? Or was it one of those bargain bin moments?

I faintly remember purchasing it. Along with some gangster rap and death metal. Yeah, there was definitely some gangster rap and death metal purchased that same day. I'm almost certain.
