The conservatives had quite a funny ad showing Jack's moustache superimposed over pictures of average people and the moustache was saying things like "I want drugs to be legalized" "I want to pay higher taxes" etc.

I usually would vote NDP when it comes to Federal elections, but I wanted to give the middle finger to all major parties this time around (I'm sure in the next one, I'll vote NDP or something). Not that it really makes a difference in Alberta, since it's always Tories who win here. But hey, I'm always happy to break Albertan stereotypes...

Yeah, it really was a matter of time until Anne McLellan (the lone Liberal MP in Alberta) would bite the bullet. She squeaked by so many times and many believed she kept her seat because of her own personal popularity AND that she ensured an Alberta voice in a Liberal govt (she always got Cabinet positions). However, since it was clear there would be no more Liberal govt, she'll get the axe. And Harper will fill out his Cabinet positions with Albertans.

That's right, rest of Canada, we're spreading our Alberta imperialism. So best learn to love it. You'll all be wearing cowboy hats in no time. :p
