- a 4gb hard drive with only 4mb free. i can't even copy/paste photos with that

- a pentium 2. by god, its almost as bas as the celeron

-333 mHz processing speed. i think a turtle could open microsoft word faster

You might want to consider getting a memory optimizer. Or for a quick fix, check your CMOS by hitting Ctrl Alt Esc F5 Scroll Lock. Once you're in DTK BIOS, you scroll down to utilities and click "fix everything" and hit Shift Ctrl Alt + Num Pad Del and then when it asks you if you want to reset your PS/1 Value Point, you click (Y). It should run a lot faster afterwards.

and being that this is my work computer, i can't do much of anything on it that isn't average joe computer work. I was looking to clear up some hard drive space, and i can't even delete useless programs

Oh. Well, then go to your start menu, go to power options, go to turn off hard disks, highlight 'after 3 minutes', then go to system standby and highlight 'after 1 minute', then go to system hibernates and highlight 'after 1 minute' and then hit shift+ctrl+F2+delete+F8 and hit Num Lock, then Alt, F4, Esc, / then (N) and she should be running a lot smoother after that.
