I think Kanyeezy has given us enough reasons to want to kill him already, even if you can't view the links. Yeah, he's made some good songs, but pretty soon it'll be like "yeah, I know he raped all those puppies, but c'mon man...Gold Digger! GOLD DIGGER, man!"

haha that dude just loves pushin' the buttons of the majority :D egotist yes but as long as he making that music thats fans/artist want, then you can't stop him...you want to kill him Mickill, I'll get you the gun and bullets haha although I think he's more likely to die because of himself and not cuz fans want to get at him.

haha

I do get tired of the posturing. It gets old after awhile.

But he writes some good lines and that's all that matters, right?

not nowadays I guess...it's a double edge sword, stay unknown and don't make alot of money or fame, or do whatever you can to get yourself exposed and get "crucified" by the media/fans

he makes bomb music, even if you might not think he does as a solo artist, you can't say that "Takeover", "Brown Sugar" "The Corners" "Poppa was a playa" aren't great songs by Jay-Z, Mos Def, Common and even Nas.

I don't want to kill him, man. I just want it to happen somehow. Sorta unexpectedly. Preferrably in a humiliating manner, like passed out in a Burger King with a yellow dildo in his hand and a Clay Aiken cd in his jacket pocket.

Yeah, he makes some good music, but he's still a tool. And apart from the whole Jesus thing being completely ridiculous, it isn't even an original idea. How many rappers have done this already? Nas, 2Pac...even Diddy. I mean, c'mon.

I'm doing that whole Jesus thing right now, everybody is wearing the Thorn Crown thing down here in Seattle, it's just common sense to keep up with the styles.

Houston, we have a problem, the dude is funny.

Howard Stern posed with the crown of thorns 9 years ago for his movie release and Rolling Stone wouldn't put it on the cover then because it might be too controversial.

Looks like times have changed.

okay, now you're messing with kanye and clay....i think if anybody should die, it shouldn't be kanye, i mean c'mon...what about paris hilton? kill her instead. she doesn't make good music. she doesn't really do anything. she's pretty useless and we have no need for her.

truth.the media crucified his name pretty much(Pac), you still see the affects of it today, it still is happening today as well.

Kanye was a producer first, in my eyes, so it's pretty amazing that he has the skills that he has, plus he has the respect of Jay-Z, Mos Def, Talib, and Common...rappers that balzed tracks before him and with him and have respect for him as a producer and as a lyricist...I'm sure he rather have props from those folks then some random people on a message board

Jay-Z discouraged Kanye from doing an album originally and wanted him to concentrate on making beats.

you sure it was jigga, could've sworn it was Dame Dash more then Jigga, but that was before Kanye blew up though and now you have both on the same record togther (The Bounce, Diamonds (remix)) obviosuly his attitude changed

mickill

No, it was Jay. Trust me. Also, Kanye sounded like an idiot on The Bounce.

Dame Dash too (trust me I heard it), but still deosn't defeat the point I made since Jigga was obviosuly talking in past tense

I'm with G-Mile the whooole way here. Great music any way you cut it. Buh overrated this overrated that, who gives a fuck, leave the mass media alone and listen and discover music free from that. You'll see that it's rather liberating, because if you don't appreciate good music because it is being overhyped you aren't any different than the people who listen to it on the simple bases that it is popular.

Hate it when my friends are like,"Change the track, thats been overplayed", I tell them to fuck off and stop listening to the radio, "It's a good track now STFU".

Nothing to do with the media perspective here or that "overrated" argument.

I think he's a douche. As a person. He hasn't done anything to warrant the level of cockiness he exudes 25 hours a day. Dude acts like he invented air.

numerous grammy awards, almost every member of the music industry on his jock, changing the game with the soul samples (he might not have been the first (like Snoop with the dizzle, fo shizzle shit) but everyone knows him for it and he made if big) he's done plenty in terms of the field of work he is in.

Trust me, I aint saying he ain't "on that shit again" but is it that bad to hate a person you don't even know?I heard him act like a fool on my local radio station the day of his LP's dropping and I still bought the record, why? He isn't doing anything that bad...he just being a hype man and people are buying into it...he movin shit like one of the fav. lines of your fav Wu Lp goes "like retail".

thank you!!

Besides, low confident self-esteem people always attack those that speak their minds, speak for others or tell it as it is... that's why Kanye is posed like jesus... jesus spoke his mind and was crucified... i guess it's symbolism...

that's why many don't speak up for themselves or others for the better... afraid of the consequences...

i don't mind his music but i've seen a couple of interviews with Kanye and he that man is too far up his own arse for my liking. now this shit with the angel wings and crown of thorns isn't doing him any favours.

remember when MJ tried to pull some similar shit at the Brit Awards? it wasn't a pretty sight. tis all
Jarvis Cocker did a nice thing.
