View Full Version : I've never met a decent Gus

All guys named Gus that I've ever known, have kind of been dim-witted jerks. And I've never met an Alex who wasn't extremely sure of himself.
Have you ever noticed any name/personality patterns?
Of course these are just my personal experiences, maybe all the Guses you've ever known have been sweethearts.
Maybe it's all in my head and I just LOOK for patterns and make them myself, you know how people say bad things come in threes when really if you looked hard enough could justify saying that they come in fours or twos just as easily.
Or maybe these names do create a personality either because of how people react to them or what famous people had them.

90% of Steves think they're some kind of gift to humanity.
Chuck is a name for dudes that fix trucks or do plumbing/HVAC
Butch tends to be friends with Chuck, as they work together.
Linda means you're a librarian, or at least a quiet housewife dominated by Steve.
Dave is an all around dork name. DAAAAVE....just listen to that. christ.
also, Doug, Rod, Ned, Todd (flanderses lol), Brayden, Tucker, Tyler, Taylor, etc etc.

haha. the one Sue i know wanted to get plastic surgery on her hoohoo claiming that after 3 kids it was corroded because she couldn't keep it "clean" due to all the folds from it stretching out. i never wanted to sit near her again. this is the same woman who claimed using soap took away the body's natural cleansing ingredients, therefore she never washed her hoohoo with soap. no wonder it was corroded.
