Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.
come on, nothing better...
that was my favorite children's book. It gave me the idea of jelly and cream cheese sandwhiches, and I still eat them to this day.

i just a bought a hardcover copy, along with Courderoy.....
for my kids, when i have them.
god, i love Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.
remember when the riggatoni starts falling....and there's that picture of a dude with a giant piece over his head? fuckin surreal...
I liked it when the giant pancake overtakes the town. who knew it would be an erie foreshadowing of 9-11?

i always preferred this one a little more (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0060254920/ref=pd_sim_b_4/104-0756503-4231165?%5Fencoding=UTF8&v=glance&n=283155)
but that is an excellent book.
edit: my dad used to read this book (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0689716672/qid=1138305680/sr=2-1/ref=pd_bbs_b_2_1/104-0756503-4231165?s=books&v=glance&n=283155) when he would go give talks to elementary and middle school kids. its pretty damn convincing
