Does anyone have this problem? I get paranoid about taking my shoes off.

mine do too, but i think it's actually just my shoes, i've been wearing the same pair for about a year

the main reason i hate work is probably because i have to have my shoes on for about 9-10 hours in a row....

usually after a while, they start to smell like buttered popcorn

Yeah i think it's because I've worn my shoes with no socks and apparently that leads to a stinkfest.

My bitches feet smell when she wears these boots. Its weird because her smell is usually pretty, but whe she wears these specific boots, pretty becomes ultrafunkafied.

My feet on the other hand, or should i say foot *tussles hair, tickles rib* are perfect hobbit feet with no smell. Never have I had an odor problem....down there.

If your nose runs and your feet smell, you were born the wrong way round.

Odd that you bring this up; my feet feel a little funky/clammy today. I assumed that the socks I got out of the drawer should've been in the hamper or something; I dunno.

I don't like this feeling, and it's a few hours before I can free my feet. :(

cheaper shoes are usually the culprit

You should also change your socks daily, as well. It helps.

not always... wearing sneakers without socks or getting your sneakers wet will kick up some funky shit.

but wearing plastic shoes (n)

not everyone has enough socks to change them every day! im poor. i only have one pair of socks! i have to mush up babies!

I've heard that if you use a deodorant/antipersperant (the same one as for your armpits) on your feet they will sweat less over time and that smell will probably go away. Also, clean out your shoes. I don't think you necessarily have to wash them, but if you wipe out the inside that should do it. If you wear the shoes with no socks frequently then your feet could be clean but when you put them in something that smells icky, they'll smell icky too.

well, sneakers are definitely a reason, but plastic shoes, fake leather shoes or any kind of SKECHERS (damn, those fuckers make your feet stink, even if they are sandals!)

my problem is that my feet just sweat a lot. even when they feel cold to the touch, they often are sweaty (and this is with no shoes or socks on at all)

I think we should sent up a Pauli Needs Socks foundation of some sort.

I read somewhere once that you sweat about a cup of perspiration on any given day through your feet. I don't think you should use anti-perspirant, because then you'd be locking it in. But since there is foot deoderant available, there's really no sense in using your Lady Speed Stick or anything. That's if Barb even uses deoderant/antiperspirant.

Hmmm I'm thinking about this deodorant idea.

There's instructions on how to wash my shoes in the shoes. But I like wearing my keds without socks...is that so wrong?

Is it because you like the way it looks? You could get those short socks that don't come up over your ankle. You can barely see them in shoes.

DandyFop

Yeah, that and I never have clean socks.

I only wear socks when I'm doing jabumbo anyway, i'm such a tease.
