Is Megadeth. I haven't seen posted here at all.
Dave Mustaine is one of the most talented and gifted lyrisicets(SP) of all time.Even though they haven't kept the same band members (besides bassist Dave Ellefson), They still have this hardcore wall of synronized guitars going on.
Dave Mustaine could have been great wit Metallica but he's better on his own.

why did you have to go and fix it now you asshole. makes me look like an asshole now
Even though it was one of their newere albums....RUST IN PEACE was probably the best one. Holy Wars? I mean fuck! It makes me want to do some meth and smoke marlboro reds.

mmmm.... i dunno man. this has been discussed so much; how metallica would've gone if mustaine stayed with the band. A LOT of fans, including myself, reckon metallica would've made 2 or 3 next albums and then just burnt out in a hole. if the band couldn't handle mustaine BEFORE kill 'em all, there's no way they would've lasted another couple of albums.

Yeah, I'd have to say RIP was their best albums. Without a doubt, So far, so good, so what is their second best.
Edit: Yeah Tzar, I believe it's better he's not with Metallica and they would have burned away a long time ago, maybe. Truth is, they are already a band of fat heads and I think Mustaine is probably the biggest of all ot them. They just wouldn't progress amongst the arguments.

EricLee~ You deserve a key to the city where ever it is you live. Yes, I've preached the word of MegaDave for sometime. I believe Dave Jr. was a yes man to hang out as long as he did and be a partner in the crimes known as every CD following RiP. But weren't those 1st 4 CD's enough to capture a lifetime? They lost it after the track "Go to Hell" off Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey but up to then they were golden. I saw them on the RiP tour w/ Testament opening.....If I could get creedance for that I would put it on my CV
For Me it's in this order:
RiP
Peace Sells
Killing is my Business
then So Far
All great CD's~~~And the "I want to watch the news! -----Reputtal: This is the news!" spot in Peace Sells makes that timeless
Killing for religion is something I don't understand is poingnent at best, sad reality at worst
I like Daves sarcasm/whining more than James drivel anyday. It fits with the music. But that just my opinion so that and 50 cents can buy you a paper

I'd have to say it's a very hard choice to pick which one is better between RiP and Peace Sells. Gar was a great drummer (R.I.P) and had that lanky praying mantis style. I'd have to say that Killing is my Business would have to be the last of my picks. For one it just seems like it's a battle piece against Metallica to show off how speedy they can get, hence Mechanix. There just wasn't any feel in that c.d. It's just my personal opinion though.
I think they've made a great comeback with The System has Failed, but still, my favorite C.D. will always be R.I.P.

I'll make a deal with you. I gave up on Megadave when they put out CtE and I tired my way through Y and after that I just stuck to the previous 4 I mentioned. If you give KimB again another chance~especially to Looking Down the Cross and KimB...aBiG, Last Rites and hell even the cover of These Boots are great tracks. Then I'll buy TShF- even though Dave stood silent during the elections and said nothing one way or the other or anything for that matter. The Dave I know and love voiced his opinion one way or the other no matter the repercussions. Remember the Rock the Vote Dave? What happened to him? Apathy? 8+ yrs later he's silent. Then he put out TSHF....Squeek up Dave. I did hear Kick the Chair was one of that CD's highlights but haven't heard it yet.
On a side note :Yes, Mechanix is wretched.
Not to say that any musician would sway my opinion one way or the other. But if there's an elephant in the bathroom at least mention it
