Radiohead - Pulk/Pull Revolving Doors

I love Radiohead, but this song is just completely unlistenable. It's not even a song. I have no idea what the hell it is. It frightens me.

This isnt easy cos even tho there's some tracks i dont like i've heard them enough to become familiar with them - its like having annoying relatives or something.

Nothing Left - Orbital
Hardest Thing In The World - Stone Roses
Magic Pie - Oasis
High Plains Drifter - B Boys (sorry if this offends - cant stand it)
The Boxer - Chemical Brothers

i've always liked it to be honest, saying that tho, there's very little by the roses i don't like, infact i can't think of anything, i even like misery dictionary and all that stuff. i'd agree it's not top 5 or anything

Hey son, you got mixed up there, thats from "goin' down". I'm a massive fan and it was hard to choose a bad one. just finished a book about the early days. it was all right.

so it is, thats hangovers for you

was it the book that has the story about rene drumming with pete townsend ? and no interviews with the band ???

you never heard a word i said, it sounded simple to me, that if you knew you wouldn't say, it never happens that way

thats more like it

Thats the one - it was a bit thrown together and all about before the album was made and culled together from past interviews. There wasnt much about makin the album. I'm not sure a proper book will be written for a long long time.

i was reading in of the best of or essential cd's (some shit like that anyway) interviews with the 4 of them, made me sad really. rene saying he just loved playing, the four of them, loved it so much he would've done it for free. i was gutted when rene left, it's criminal he isn't drumming anymore.

It is - i heard he was in a bad way. Its all a bit sad that it ended at all mate. At least the Brown is still at it - he kind of always was the roses - i know the band were awesome but he was the drivin force - he inspired them to sound that good. Went to see him at Delamere Forest last year - he didnt one right note, but it was still a quality gig. He did a load of roses stuff.

did you see the interview in NME were browny said no way to getting back together ? you have to love him off key or otherwise, i was at spike island and the winter gardens at blackpool, his vocals were shite but it didn't matter. they did an arts centre nr me, it was either back end of 88 or early 89, tiny venue but his vocals were spot on

I actually like this track because of how much it frightens me. Like, I wonder where the fuck it came from. As for calling it a "song", I'm not sure anything on Kid A or Amnesiac constitutes a "song". Maaaaybe.....'Optimistic'.

Elvis Costello - Clowntime Is Over No. 2

....are you talking about the Taking Liberties version (20 Bloody Mary's or whatever) or the Get Happy version or some other....?

the one on Get Happy disc 2. I don't think it was on talking liberties, but I might be wrong. I don't have that album, just the sheet music, and it was used, so most of it was ripped out.

It's not the original, mid-tempo version. I like that one alright. Clowntime Is Over No. 2 is much, much slower. It sound's like a slower Smokey Robinson song, but with the exact same lyrics. Neither the lyrics nor Costello's voice is well suited for it.

CH ~ Boom Biddy Bye Bye

WHAT?!?! you're craaaaaazy

Peter Gabriel- Kiss that Frog (i just don't care for it; it's not embarrassing or mind-numbingly awful like the rest of the songs listed here)
Elvis Costello- Playboy to Man
Pink Floyd- A Spanish Piece
Wu Tang Clan- Black Shampoo, Chrome Wheels
De La Soul- Baby Baby Baby Baby Ooh Baby
Led Zeppelin- Candy Store Rock

and yes, to be perfectly honest, alot of 'To The 5 Burroughs'

Its been the opposite for me - i didnt like it for a long time and then after joining the board and messin with the acapellas - i have listened to it loads and really like it now - i think some people dont like coz it was a bit of a departure but at least its original.

Yeah...

I have to agree.

I mean, it sounds good on paper, but the actual record...I rarely listen to it and each time I do, I want to listen to it less.

Some of the songs are OK, but yeah, most of them suck.
