... and actually it makes the photo (http://www.cnn.com/2004/TECH/ptech/02/17/polaroid.warns.reut/) develop unevenly, the chemicals might float and make the pic psychedelic.

we did an experiment with polaroid pictures taken of the same exact thing and we shook one and didn't shake the other. The shaken one was cloudy and developed slower...but the next day we looked at them again and they were exactly the same!
