I have entered a contest via some music sites newsletter, didnt expect anything to happen because there's a bagillion people sending in answers...

anyhoo, i wanted to check out who won, but my gmail didnt work for days.
Now, finally it did work, and what did I see....?

I have won a 'melkweg'poppack. Which means I get a ticket, for 2 people to see the following shows:

I hope you can make it to some of the shows at least. It isn't that far from Rotterdam to Amsterdam is it? So you can make the trip after work (unless you work in the evenings of course...).
I always go to gigs alone, don't have that many friends who still are interested in music. And as I'm not that much of a drinker either so I usually get just one beer before the gig, park myself by the stage and watch people (I try to time my arrival so I don't need to wait that long) and then flirt with the bassplayer ;)
After the gig if the DJ plays good music I might stay for another beer and even have a dance by myself (if the music's reeeeeaaaally good) and then leave. I'm not much of a socialiser so drunkards don't even try to chat me up.

I've heard Art Brut should be great live, I missed their performance at Popaganda last summer as my sister wanted to see Kent instead (she can't go to gigs alone, and I do like Kent as well), and Clap Your Hands Say Yeah are pretty hyped here, their gig got really good reviews.
