when I was 18, my mom would sleep over at this guy she was dating's house on saturday nights and my friends would come over for drunk sleepovers. it ruled. until she overheard me on the phone saying to a boy, "did we do that just because we were drunk?" and she thought I was talking about sex and she freaked out. she was so freaked out about the sex part that she didn't even care that much about the drinking.


now she lives with a boyfriend. I just look at their bed and go ew. OH! but one time she told me about how her and last husband were comparing their naked butts in the mirror. SICK!

Age isn't a factor unless we're talking whether someone's consenting/adult.

And physical appearance--wow, that's completely irrelevant. If someone's balding or fat or liver-spotted or has greasy hair or bad acne--those things are just not factors in terms of whether what those people are doing is appropriate (or "gross").

I have a kid who is close to 20 and a dad who is close to 80. It's great when they've been happy in their respective close relationships and I like that we can/do talk about those things, too. Maybe that's why it doesn't weird me out to know that they are or have been active in that sense.
