View Full Version : They say you can see the Great Wall of China from space.
This isn't true. I went on Google Earth and I can see my house. Why does no one talk about my house being seen from space? In fact, you can see everything from space.
No they dont. They say you can see it from the moon, there's a difference. But that is also not true.

"The only thing you can see from the moon is a beautiful sphere, mostly white (clouds), some blue (ocean), patches of yellow (deserts), and every once in a while some green vegetation. No man-made object is visible on this scale. In fact, when first leaving earth's orbit and only a few thousand miles away, no man-made object is visible at that point either."
i'd do anything to see that myself...

Google is a artificial reality geared for each individual user, this is why you can see your house so clearly. I try and avoid google as it is likely stronger than crackle.
