last night, while very much stoned, i was made to maintain a conversation with my bf's parents. i cant explain just how difficult it was. i was soooo paranoid, and i started wigging out over something, and it took me forever to come up with words...
it was bad. ever happen to you?

i make conversation uncomfortable on purpose. it's funny to see other people nervous.
and i've been in plenty of uncomfortable conversations which weren't made uncomfortable by me, i was just caught in the middle. it's hard to talk about mini cheese balls with your best friend's mom while you're friend is crying in the bathroom because you were both brought back by the cops because you were out too late. all we did was buy candy!!!
edit: sorry, anymeow, yes, i'm sure everyone has been in many uncomfortable conversations and started freaking out or twitching, etc. many times in their life.

Almost every Friday and Saturday night my junior and senior years of highschool.
"Uhm... hey Mom. What? Yeah I can open my eyes wider... Uhm it's too bright in here. Only one light on?... Well it must be a new bulb or something... I gotta go to bed."

I talked to my mom on the phone once when I was high in college. My roommates and I were doing stoned house cleaning. I was super paranoid the whole time and acted frustrated and tried to get off the phone quick and my mom was like, "what are you guys doing?" and I yelled, "WE'RE CLEANING THE HOUSE, WE'RE CLEANING THE HOUSE" and she's like, "uh, why are you yelling at me?" ha ha. I had to make up something like I was in a bad mood...but really I was in a good mood, ifyaknowhatimeandrugs.

once while i was in high school i planned to trip with a bunch of friends and decided to drop my tab before i got picked up, because i was home alone. well, my friends changed plans and my parents came home. for a bunch of reasons i couldnt leave the house and had to stay there while tripping my ass off. that evening i had the strangest dinner ever with my parents... eating steak can be really gross in lsd and i've never had breathing, glowing lettuce before. i was super quiet and they never suspected a thing, i acted like i was in a bad mood so i didnt have to speak

hahah I was talking about this shit recently.
like...pot plus conversation with someone you view as an authority figure, you get sorta tense and try to pre-emptively come up with a gameplan for conversation in the back of your mind, and you end up catching yourself mid-conversation ranting about how the venetian blinds look more "mother of pearl" than they do "beige"....then you get paranoid that you're rambling, and you're like "fuck, how do I bail out of this?" and of course when you're stoned the best solution to that is to simply CHANGE THE SUBJECT COMPLETELY.

On Degrassi the girl got high and then giggled a lot during her college interview. That's how it works, right?

I have no problem talking to my folks when I'm stoned.... but I do get really paranoid when I need to travel when stoned.... I'll check 10 times if I'm taking the right train.

All of my conversations tend to drive over that cliff eventually. I remember I went out with a girl that had a gay dad and I met her father and manfriend. What do I decide to talk about but Marvin Gaye and how much I liked his music. And then I put my 2 cents that "no, I disagree with you. Gone with the Wind is a pretty bad movie even though you guys have GwtW knick knacks littered all throughout your house." I once told a blind lady when I was a waiter that the desserts looked really good that particular night. Foot meet mouth/Mouth meet foot
