oops, i get it now. i'd written a very uniformed post many, many posts ago about the direction the beasts have taken and the ideas they drop, and i feel the fool now. it's probably been a year and i've read enough to edit my head. the confluence of reading "skills to pay the bills" and some stuff on duchamp, warhol, dadaism, postmodernism, fluxus, mail art, etc. (ooo, i'm having deja vu) has set me free.
one of 'em says in skills that their fans hold some weird views of them. imagine what happens when you play with your image. i know i do and i've seen some strange interpretations pop out. hey, i only hope someone got a good laugh out of it. no more opinions until i can recover from my disillusionment. you guys are off the pedestal. thanks for the great beats and for making art that challenged, inspired and changed me. i didn't have the same privileges, but y'all reached down to the people and taught this poor boy something new.
