What would you do if sins didn't exist?

I just saw a really interesting movie at Sundance from Peru called Madeinusa. In it, a small town celebrates "Holy Time", which is I guess the time between when Christ died and when he was resurrected or whatever. God is dead, and therefore sin doesn't exist and the people in the town do whatever they want (part of the ceremony involves taking a giant Jesus Ken doll off a cross and carting him around town in a plastic box with lace over his face. That thing was creepy).

Someone said that this holiday doesn't really exist there, the director made it up I guess, but it's an interesting concept.

I can't say that I would necessarily do anything different, I don't have any big desire to rape puppies or set people on fire, but if it was in some way that there was no such thing as quilt, that might be different. I guess that's the concept behind it anyway. What would you do if there was a few days where you could do anything without any ramifications like guilt or the judgement of others? The only thing i can really think of is that I might tell a few people what I really think of them.

i do things that people consider sins all the time, but not being religious and being able to justify them to myself, i dont feel guilty. the things that make me feel guilty are hurting people that i care about, and i have no desier to ever do that on purpose. so yeah.

yeah, this is kind of a silly question. i'm agnostic, so the only things i feel guilty about are things that i feel bad about doing on a more individual level. so why would i ever do them if i don't like them?

That's what I thought myself, well duh, the only sins I can commit are things that are harmful to my loved ones, so that's why the only thing I could really come up with is telling people that they need to get their fucking act together.
