Amazing.

I was just thinking about how awesome the new Roxy Music reunion would be IF Eno returned and BAM, this news.

You've made my day.

Let's just hope the album is good.

Siren is the only album I have by Roxy Music, this Siren thing is really, really good. I don't see Brian Eno's name anywhere on it though.

I don't know enough to get "it".

Enlighten.

Roxy Music got along fine without Eno, but hey, I'm sure Eno's return won't hurt.

I'm leery of reunions in general, but hopefully they should deliver. Now, I just gotta work my way through their catalogue in the mean time. ;)

I agree. The real question is how's Bryan? I don't like reunion albums either, but I have a feeling that if anyone can do it, it's these guys. Their thing was never about fighting the man or raising hell.

I wonder if there's any chance of them playing live in the US?

betcha yeahwho bought his only Roxy Music album for the Jerry Hall photo.

You have to hand it to Roxy Music, though. They do have some nice album covers. :o

That's right, "Country House," I'm calling you out!

yup, my favorite Roxy albums are Country Life and Siren, but I'm not excited by the return of Eno-the-member-of-roxy-music, i'm excited by the return of Eno-magnificent-producer-who-helped-make-albums-like-heroes-what-they-are *phew*

Bryan Ferry's doing A OK... he had some great material on his last (2002)album, the best being a collaboration with eno.

and yeah, if there isnt an amazing pin-up as the front cover, i will cry.

Roxy's Avalon (http://www.cduniverse.com/productinfo.asp?pid=6142080&style=music&cart=305288152&BAB=M) in surround, one of the best 5.1 albums (http://www.highfidelityreview.com/reviews/review.asp?reviewnumber=11890490) around (but you'll need an sacd player to hear the 5.1 tracks). I remember first hearing this album at an audio store while in college in 1985 & the sultry/classy music really got my attention. But I was mostly a prog rock guy at the time and sort of pretended not to like it afterwards whenever a DJ played it.

I think this is a very good reunion cuz, you know, it's Eno and Roxy Music.

How can that be bad? Add Brian Eno to ANY record, and you'll it better.

Avalon is the ultimate make-out album.
