I've been listening to my Helmet albums recently. I don't know why. Probably because for the last few months I've been listening to a lot of acoustic stuff and hip-hop. Now it's time for some hard-rocking gold.

Favourite album?

Gotta be Betty for me. 'Wilma's Rainbow' is arguably one of the best album openers ever.

Helmet's cool. And you should know why:
those guys look like reguar guys – like us...
(Guess who said that?) :D

My favourite's still Meantime!

My favourite order for their albums would be:

1.Betty
2.Meantime and Strap It On
3.Diet Aftertaste
4.Size Matters

One of my favourite hardcore bands, you absolutely have to see them live, their sound is absolutely insane (y)

Beavis & Butthead I'd say...

Favorite album for sure is Betty but my favorite song is Unsung. Man, how hyped I'd get when I used to skate and listen to that song.

The newest album still has to grow on me. I really haven't had the time for it to but as of now, I don't like it as much as Betty or Meantime.

It ranks about as good as Strap it On in my likings for now.

Did you know that Page Hamilton is a talented Jazz guitar player, he played in a jazz band before he started Helmet. Just listen to the Beautiful Love on Betty, the clean part at the beginning is stunning, then they just cover it all up with noise, but you still can make out the original melody, wicked

Didn't the bassist for Helmet roll with Metallica for awhile after they split up?
Betty is my favorite album..alot of humdingers on that one.

Meantime. Quite possibly one of my all time favorite albums.

The intro to Better makes my heart palpitate.

And I don't even know what to say about the song Unsung. There are no words... all I know is playing it on my guitar with the dropped D and distortion, sure gets the aggression out.

I saw them live not that long ago. Even though it's wasn't the original line-up, watching Page give it his all was amazing.

The Silver Hawaiian on Betty has to be one of the sexiest songs ever made.

Oh my, I could keep talking about this so I'll just stop right now.
