Im sick of hearing about this trial and how Saddam has no respect for the court (well Americans for that matter)

I think the law sucks sometimes. If a man has murdered thousands of people he should be shot dead on the spot. I know thats unlawful, but its not right for him to breath air today when a child he killed is unable to.

Its just not right!

That oughta learn 'im to mess with the good ol' U. S. of A. Just put a golf ball-sized hole in that camel jockey sonuvabitch's head and you'll have your justice, alright.

hahaha, disrespecting the courts and then saying is unlawful to put a bullet in his head.
Don't forget the bullet in the heads of the American officials who supported Saddam while he was making sure babies couldn't breathe! I know its unlawful to say that but...

1988 says hello and where was your outrage then? At Iraq or Iran

I, for one, like how he's playing the cards he's been dealt. I don't hate America but I do hate the monster it's become.

At any rate this should be moved to Political

I can understand that statement, however put yourself in one of those families that saddam murdered

I just dont want Saddam to reach "cult like status" after being in prison just like Manson did. I know they are two entirely different people, but you know some people will get on saddam's side.

I just believe at some point a person should lose their rights to freedom. Bottom Line

Do you hold those same feeling about the familes that G.I. Joe has murdered while there? I don't know about you but if the great defenders of the world came in to free me from myself and killed my wife and our son then at that point I'd have nothing to lose. And to quote the great Malcolm X "Someone with nothing to lose is a dangerous man"

Well you gotta remember why the gi joes are their to begin with because of saddam.

No i dont think their families should have been killed. I am not defending this country in anyway by saying this: This country will recruit ANYONE into the military. Some of these people dont have any common sense what so ever. If this country is being protected by the same farts that were in the rotc in high school we all are in big trouble.

I would be a total coward towards going into the military. I would not defend this country, military wise. That is just how I feel on that.

If the USA was able to have better relations with other nations, I feel this sort of thing can be resolved. Not completely resolved, but it would be progress.

We need more of a socialist to run this country iinstead of some stupid ass conservative

Thank you Richie Cunningham...So we're there because of the Weapons of Mass Destruction.
Glad you cleared that up for me so I can go back to being scared. Thank you. And once again are we at yellow or orange on the scare meter. Because I don't know if I'm wearing the appropriate crash helmet

We might have to put bullets in the heads of other war criminals, US Presidents, CEOs of major corporations, etc. To not look like hypocrites of course. Oh and the whole 'until proven guilty' hippie crap.

Hah, there'd be quiet a few more left.. but yah the world is filled with evil mostly white powerful and rich men. It's our part to keep them in check. Sadly that has not been the case in the US, as well as other countries.

After having my Tator Tots and French Fries I have this to say:

Saddam wanted a fair trial, therefore outside of the US, which he got. So far he has walked out of the courtroom, his defense team has walked out of the court room, a new judge was appointed because the first one was accused of being 'soft towards the defense'. What the hell does Saddam want? His own family to be head of the court, oh wait most of them he has KILLED HIMSELF.

What Saddam and the defense are trying to do is carry on the precedings as long as possible because they know they are guilty! They know as long as they are able to 'make' the trial longer the better percentage they have at being found not-guilty.

However, all of this court talk (in my opinion) shouldnt be happening. The fucker deserves to die NOW and anyone who thinks differently has some serious problems.

What happens if the trial goes for another 6 months and then he is sentenced to die and the day before he is sentenced to die, he kills himself. Would that be justice? Would the families whom he has killed away from think that was justice, no.

In closing, the judge needs to be really strict and get this trial over with. This doesnt deserve to be another 'oj trial'. He needs to die now and in a very painful way, done by others, while who ever wants to watch this happen is allowed to.

Like i said in my first post, sometimes people dont deserve to have a fair trial and this is one of those times. If Saddam or anyone for that matter killed your father, mother, wife or kids you would feel the same way.

The honest truth behind all this hate (which is somewhat justified in some ways) is that I had some family that lived in Kirkuk, Iraq during the late 80s and early 90's. You would not believe the stuff they told me. For example, Iraqi soldiers going to one of their neighbors homes and killing the father, mother and two children because the father refused the join the military in 1988.

I know many of you may feel differently about what should happen with saddam, rather it be by trial or by execution instead of a trial.

I feel comfortable with saying that my reasons are justified to think the way I think on this subject. Rather they be right or wrong, I feel its right.
