i love reggaeton but thats probally because of my latin roots and that i live in Los Angeles :D but if i'd have to chose i'd stick to hip hop (y)
but i think that reggaeton might become the new hip hop it's been around for a couple of years and give it a few more years and it'll probally get to being as big or maybe even bigger than hip hop :eek:

Muh, my main gripe with dance music like that. It has one 'beat' that's it, little to no variation on it... Great for dancing but for listening...God, it's like listening to techno bullshit for fun. I mean sure bland heavy beats are fine for simple dancing, but for some reason I like a little more substance for the day to day listening.

Have nothing against it, get the ladies moving up against my 'area' which I do not mind. I just don't see it as a fully developed musical genre. Also real reggae > reggaeton. Max Romeo , yeha mon.
