You notice that there's never an airplane in any of those pictures? I think that's kind of weird... I wonder how many times they've had to re-take a picture because there was a jet in the way or somethin'.

Actually I think you'll find there is!
My housemate who's a fucking war nerd found a picture where there's a WWII bomber plane flying. Apparently there's only two of them left in the world that can fly, and google earth captured one of them flying!

Google earth is my goddamn hobbie nowadays. It's like everything you need in life all rolled up into one. Check out Ayers Rock down under. That's cool.

On a semi related note there's a glider here (http://maps.google.co.uk/?t=k&ll=52.323754,0.019028&spn=0.00241,0.005182&t=k)

Yes that one. He shows it to me pretty much every day. And tells the same story about how there's only two of them still flying and how amazing it is that it got captures on this thing. He made me watch Band of Brothers in two days as well.

Actually, I know for a fact that Bob takes his laptop with him when he walks along the street. I think Cosmo105 does too... although she pretends it's a handbag.

Hah, that would be badass. Also before I get to my point, has anyone found nude colonies on it?

Can you imagine fucking out in your hot tub or whatever, pull that laptop out and watch yourself. Hah, interesting.

Then governments -- say, US and China -- use those images to monitor terrorists. Look for Blighty!
